Well... do to unfortunate circumstances, our Christmas CD will not be arriving this holiday season. Yes, you read that right. The upside is that we may add even more songs to it for next year (yes, some are already in the can, but you'll have to wait). So, instead we have been working on original material for our new album. We would like to promise it in due time as well, however, do to our track record, it's certainly possible that it won't be out until fall 2006. Yes, you read that right as well. In other news, we took home the Tulsa World Spot Music Award for Best Pop Act. It's our fourth time to receive that award and we're grateful for everyone who voted.

Addendum to the previous news: Also available now is an assortment of 5 Admiral Twin Logo buttons (click here). Now you can affix the AT logo to your favorite jacket, purse, or fish. Also, if you're in the Oklahoma City area, John & Jarrod will be the backup band for David Lon at the Oklahoma City State Fair from September 15th through the 23rd. You can see show times and other info by visiting Dave's website.

Available now are two new Admiral Twin logo t-shirts which you can get by clicking here. Up until now these shirts have only been available at our concerts. New products are in the works. So please check back for updates. Things are going well with the Christmas CD. We're still finalizing the last batch of songs to be included. After that we will be pushing forth with our new CD of original material. It is possible that our Christmas CD will be available on iTunes only this season and then available on compact disc next Christmas season. However, no real final decision has been made. Check back soon for more information.

Well, once again we have been nominated for "Best Pop Act" for this year's Tulsa World Spot Music Awards. If you feel so inclined, please head over and VOTE for us. We're thankful to have been considered every year since the inception of the "Spotniks". This is the seventh year we've been honored with a nomination (we've actually received four awards). In other news, the fine folks at Wal-Mart have seen fit to make our CD Unlucky available for download at their website for the low, low cost of only .88 cents per song. We're glad to now officially be a participant in their "Roll-Back" prices. And finally, there are now a few videos posted on the Admiral Twin TELEVISION page for your enjoyment.

Thanks to everyone who supported us at Mayfest this year. We enjoyed ourselves onstage and really appreciated everyone who stopped by our merch booth and bought something. We also would like to thank all of our lovely helpers who worked that day including Craig, Zuri, Stephen, Syke, Karen, April, Anita, "lil" Marty, Jen, Danielle, Rachael, and anyone else that we may have so foolishly forgotten. We'd also like to thank Gary Hizer and the entire Mayfest staff and the stage crew who were so courteous to us. And of course we'd also like to thank our good friends Ike, Tay, & Zac for sharing the stage (and their tour bus) that day.

It's back to business as usual here. That is, in regard to playing the Tulsa clubs. We are working on more tour plans. However, there is nothing new to report just yet. We are also currently back in the studio working on some new original music and a final batch of Christmas songs. "Final" might sound strong, but the point is that after this batch is completed, our entire cannon of Christmas recordings will be compiled into a full-length album which we hope to make available this fall. So, the previous Christmas EPs will remain out-of-print in the future and may feature some differences in terms of audio mastering and whatnot.

In other news, John has just finished editing a new documentary (directed by Ashley Greyson) about 3CG recording artists Hanson titled STRONG ENOUGH TO BREAK. He has also composed the score for the film. The documentary will be screening in festivals and colleges later this year.

Greetings. We've just inked a deal with Central South/Infinity Distribution to release "Creatures of Bread & Wine" nationwide on July 19th. So, if you haven't already purchased our CD, then please ask for it in your local record store on or after the aforementioned release date. We would be much obliged. Further tour dates are still in the works. And in other news, along with "Creatures of Bread & Wine," our first CD "Unlucky" is now available on iTunes for your downloading pleasure. Peace.
